The morning started with
breakfast outside the Osaka Castle from a meal van.
The meal below was prawn
cracker (pink wafer), with tempura (yellow pebbles) and an egg with mayonnaise.
It was actually quite yum!

Then off to the castle.
The castle is one of Japan's
most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan
during the sixteenth century. The castle has been destroyed 3 times he last
time by lighting in 1665.
We also walked up to the
9th level to take in the views of the city.
The previous night after
dinner we came across a fabric shop but unfortunately even through trying they
were closing, so we went back today.
They use a tube system which they send a
snip of the fabric we order upstairs to be cut and then sent back down the tube
back down to us. I bought metres of fabric.
| Oh dear...fabric! |
We then travelled to Nara
approximately 40 minutes via train. We are staying at this lovely slightly
larger room hotel for half the price of Osaka.
Tonight's dinner was a
chicken soup with spring onions, cabbage, bean sprouts which I cooked at the
table.

Night love,
Chi
